Please continue to pray for the
healing of the Baker family. If you
would like more information as to
how to pray for the situation, with our
family, please contact us.

Wesley and Ashley have both been
working full time and taking college
classes in Phoenix since they have left
PNG. .

Continue to pray for the five Loko churches (Mang, Pinir, Awanglo, Marawes
and Koloko) and their leaders.
Pray that they would stay true to the Word and
be a light to their own people and others. Marijuana and home brewed
alchohol has become a big temptation for especially the young there.

The elders of the Loko churches are continually evaluating their own culture.
They have decided to set aside some of their cultural celebrations and feasts as
they believe them to be dishonoring to the Lord. They recently added a
celebration to celebrate Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit. They prepare
Bible messages regarding Pentecost and have written songs and made head
dresses for the 4 day celebration.
In June of 2008 Wayne passed his final fluency test in the Kaul language and
culture. Since then we have been working toward the goal of planting a
church in the Kaul Tribe through literacy, Bible translation, teaching and
discipleship. Diane's main focus has been on literacy and on completing her
Language and culture study.

Then He said to
them, "The
harvest truly is
great, but the
laborers are few;
therefore pray
the Lord of the

His harvest.

Luke 10:2-3

Only ask, and I
will give you the
nations as your
inheritance,
the ends of the
earth as your

Upon returning to the field in mid August 2010, we will be returning to live
among the Kaul people. Wayne has asked the field leadership to be excused from
his translation consulting responsibilities for a few years.
Pray that the Lord
would provide other consultants to fill that need. We want to be able to focus on
all that is takes to establish the Kaul Church as a dynamic witness to their own
people and others. He will especially be focusing on equiping the Kaul church
with the much needed scriptures and Bible lessons they need.

Pray for the handful of believers here in Kaul as they seek to be a light in the
darkness.

Pray for Diane as she continues to helper newer tribal teams set up their literacy
programs..
